He switches his hold on the feather, so that now the quill-end is pointing downwards. "Okay, here's a test - without looking, tell me who's name I'm writing!"

He starts to trace the letters "A...M..." across her belly.

He moves down a bit, once again sliding his forearm underneath her knees to lift her legs. "And the prize is, I'm going to tickle your feet with this lovely feather - for free!"

He now begins to twirl the feather around as he works it between her toes.
