While the Battle Feild and the Cave are for free flowing RPs without much of a central plot, this forum was designed for those who wanted to create and participate in large scale, complex plot-driven RPs where they have a little more control over the RP's destiny. Those who wish to create a story RP are welcome to do so by first creating a sign up thread. This is where you will give the background and basic plot of the story, and nominate the characters you will choose to play out in them. Please give a little bio about your characters too unless you don't want to reveal too much and wait for it to all happen in the story. In addition, you can also limit the number of characters in a signup thread. This is particularly useful if you are doing a story based on a novel or movie, or if you don't want the thread going too out of track.

In the end though, the OP is the one who has the final say of where the story will go ultimately. If you are not signed up to the thread and post in it, it will get deleted and the person responsible receive a warning. In this case, "going with the flow" isn't quite a free-flow, but one where the owner of the thread controls it. And please prevent from posting one sentence replies - this is a major story after all, where your involvement is supposed to be descriptive and rich.
