A New Challenge (for Dragonrookie)

Sirius lands on the battlefield, folding his blue wings to his sides and looking around. It has been quite awhile now since he has faced a new opponent, and he has heard that some new dragons have come in since he's last done so. One of them sounds particularly interesting, a pale green female with a white underside - he would, he thinks to himself, like to meet that one - he figures it would be great fun!

He stands on all fours for a few moments, the sun glinting off his dark blue scales, then settles himself down onto his belly and waits patiently, his silver eyes scanning the skies for signs of movement.

( Piper flies down and sees the dragon)

Sirius Sees the other dragon flying overhead.

"Hello there!" he calls up to her. "Do you have a moment to land and talk?"

Piper: hehe sure do

"My name is Sirius," he says, watching the other dragon as he waits for her to come in for a landing.

( she lands)
Piper: I'm Piper

He bends his neck down in a polite bow. "I am glad to meet you," he says. "I had heard of you, and thought we might have some fun together."

Piper: hehe somehow I know where this is going you want to tickle me right

Sirius grins at her. "As I would guess you wouldn't mind doing to me as well?"

He looks her over carefully, trying to guess where Piper's ticklish spots might be, although he tries to do it in a way that she won't notice.

Piper: hehe well I could just let you tie me up but where's the fun in that try and catch me with a lasso if you get me you can tickle me for as long as you want and even make me be your tickle slave and of course if you can't catch me within an hour than it's the other way around

Sirius laughs. "It's a deal!" he tells her, as he sits up on his haunches so he can use his forepaws. He reaches down and picks up a length of rope that just so happens to be lying on the ground next to him. Ropes are pretty much standard dragonic equipment around here.

He loops the end into a lasso, and begins twirling it. "This will take some getting used to," he says, then flings the rope, trying to snare the dragoness with it.

( she dodges)
Piper: gotta be faster than that ( she flies off)

Sirius spreads his wings and takes off after her. "You can't get away that easily!" he laughs.

While she's still not too far ahead, he throws it again, aiming to catch the end of her tail with the snare.

( she just barley dodges and tries to pick up speed)

Sirius beats his wings harder to keep up with her, and begins twirling the lasso again, waiting for an opportunity to toss it again. He realizes that it's very hard to use a lasso in flight, because the wind keeps trying to push it back.

He decides to try and rattle her a bit. "I wonder...where I...should tickle...you first....when I...catch you...?" he pants between wingbeats.

Piper: ( slows down thinking abnout the tickling)

Seeing her slow down, Sirius takes a chance and tosses the lasso again, aiming again to catch her tail or a back leg with it.

( he catches her leg)

"Aha, caught you!" Sirius chuckles triumphantly. He keeps hold of the rope for the moment, but doesn't tug on it. Once she acknowledges being caught, he expects to drop it for the return flight..

Piper: hehe okay okay you win

Sirius releases his end of the rope, and turns around to head back. He lands a few moments later, and waits for Piper to land as well.

( Piper lands)

Sirius unties the lasso from around Piper's leg. "Whenever you're ready, sit up on your haunches and hold out your forepaws." He sits up too, holding the rope out.

(OOC, I assume that Piper walks on all 4 legs? If not, i need to tie her differently than what I'm planning)

( she walks on two)

He ties Piper's forepaws together with the lasso rope, then steps back to check his work. It isn't much, but it wil do for a start. He knows he can add more rope if needed.

"Well," he tells her, "I guess you're anxious to get started!" He takes a couple of steps closer, but takes his time, wanting to build the suspense.
